student affairs marketing & communications
As a Social Media Intern for Washington State University Student Affairs Marketing & Communications, I produce short-form video and digital storytelling content that highlights student experiences, campus initiatives, and university programs. My role involves collaborating with multiple departments to develop content concepts, film interviews and event coverage, and edit engaging video assets designed to increase awareness and audience participation.
Through this experience, I have developed strong skills in visual storytelling, content strategy, and adapting messaging for different audiences and platforms. I regularly work in fast-paced environments where projects move quickly and require clear communication, organization, and creative problem solving.
This role has helped me build a foundation in producing authentic, audience-focused content that aligns with brand standards while still feeling natural and engaging across social media.
